What is the best treatment for acne....it's like a curse...?

i've been suffering in this acne me for too long.....it's a total hindrance when i'm applying for a job...i'm scared of facing people because of it...can someone give some suggestion.....any cheap or swack in my budget products or regimen? tnx...
