Do you think this Sanjaya thing has been blown way out of proproportion today's real problems?

He is only 17. Think when you were that age or your children are nearing it or were. I find it incredible that this young man can take soooo much criticism from a such mive viewed audience. There are man (sadly) kids his age doing drugs, have no goals, and generally getting in serious trouble. He seems like a nice young man- sang in his choir, put his sister above himself in audition and is trying to do something with his life. NO ONE deserves to be called names using such vitriolic verbiage to someone who is hurting ansolultely no one. To the young people, some of your can't even cope with school cliques,etc. and rightly so. You should all stop this hatred. I don't love him or hate him but don't you feel this hatred should stop and can be very damaging. The internet- the new place for any one to defame the life of another anonoumsely. Anyone else agree?
