Visiting Canada have some questions.?

I'm going to be visiting canada for 18 days. I'll be staying with friends.Tey are sending me a letter of invitation. I have diabetes and am on disability so I don't have a job. I'll have my medications with a note from my doctor. I rent a small apartment from a family member so none of the bills are in my name I usually just give cash to help pay them.I'll have about $700 in cash because I'll be staying with friends so I'll have a place to stay and food to eat will be provided. I have my pport and return bus ticket. What I'm worried about is I'll be on the bus for almost 2 days before I even reach the border is there anything else I can do to guarantee entry. I currently only have one bank account and I withdrew all my money for the trip because I have a rep payee over my account so my bank cards aren't in my name so I don't know if that will matter or not. Any tips will help.
