I'm uming by Hospital Corpsman, you mean the Navy. Corpsman serve the Navy and Marine Corps enlisted, officers and families. But if you have a degree, why not go in as an officer and become a nurse instead? Also, try taking the Kiersey Sorter test, which is a management tool for career counselors, to help people find their niche. You can find it online for free I think, or at least it used to be free. (keirsey.com?) Police officers tend to be ISTJ types, and those drawn to nursing, ISFP.
