Are leaves in your front yard considered bad yard keeping in a neighborhood?

We have a maple in our front yard. It's leaves have just fallen and they just look beautiful out in the yard. Plus we like to go out and play in them. We plan to bag them up in a week or two. No one seems to care, but I just wondered if it's considered neglectful or rude to leave them. The leaves aren't in the neighbors yards.
